West Coast Fever shooter Jhaniele Fowler scored a Super Netball record of 66 goals in her sides win over the Adelaide Thunderbirds in the opening round of the 2018 season.
Fowler, whose record in New Zealand was also 66, said her personally challenged to go above and beyond in her first Super Netball season.
"I think met my expectations, I was strong," she said.
"I was definitely challenged," Fowler added.
The Fever had a disappointing 2017 season finishing second last with just four points but they've already started 2018 with a bang, picking up the maximum points possible in a match, which is eight.
They head into this weekend facing a powerful Collingwood Magpies, who despite losing in their opening match against Victorian rivals, Melbourne Vixens, were able to win three bonus points.
"Defensively the Magpies are strong, I will go out and play my game," Fowler said.
"We are going to play our game.
"When we have our process right, we can beat anyone," she said.
