In the Adelaide Crows first ever AFLW trade, they have signed GWS Giants midfielder Renee Forth.
The Crows signed Forth as part of a trade with Giants which saw Adelaide also receive pick No. 31 in return for pick No.19.
The 31-year-old, who was one of Giants inaugural marquee players, was unable to take part in the inaugural season after suffering a knee injury in late 2016 but played five games with the team in the 2018 season.
Forth is currently playing with NT Thunder in VFLW side alongside Crows players Angela Foley and Jasmyn Hewett.
“She is a tremendous leader who has a lot to offer both on and off the field and we’re thrilled to have her join the Crows,” Crows General Manager of Football Administration Phil Harper said.
The AFLW sign and trade period runs until June 4 with clubs able to sign up to 23 players by this deadline.
