The Matildas and three individual players, Steph Catley, Kyah Simon and Ellyse Perry, have all received nominations for the Australian Women's Health "I Support Women In Sport" awards.

After a breakout 2012/13, in which she claimed the FFA U20 Football of the Year and the W-League Young Player of the Year, Melbourne Victory and Matildas defender Stephanie Catley has been nominated in the "One to Watch" category. 

While Sydney FC striker and captain Kyah Simon has been nominated in the "Leadership Legend" category for her Player of the Match performance in leading Sydney FC to their second W-League championship.

Fellow Sydney FC teammate Ellyse Perry is one of five athletes nominated in the "Fair Fighter" category which recognises the best and fairest athletes.

Meanwhile the Matildas are up for the "A Team" category after a number of big results including the July win over World No. 6 France.
