The most exciting season of the W-League is heading towards what is anticipated to be an equally exciting finals series and we want to capture your excitement and the support of your team.

What is the "Fan-tastic Finals" project?

The W-League has some great fans and we want to capture your support of your team during the 2013 W-League finals series.

What do I need to do?

Video yourself, your family or your friends during the finals series as you support your W-League team.  Video can be of:

  • pre-game preparations (all the face painting, dress up etc);
  • travelling to the game;
  • post game celebrations; or
  • wherever your imagination goes in relation to team support.

What can I use to record?

Any video device can be used including (but not limited to) video cameras, iPhones, DSLR cameras, whatever video recording device you have on hand.

NOTE: We would be grateful if you could please record in landscape especially if you are using your phone.

I have my video, now what?

Upload your video onto an internet storage site.  We recommend Google Drive, Dropbox, Box or YouSendIt.

Once you have done that, email our editor Ann with the link to the video for her to download.  In the email include:

  • your name and State;
  • any names of the other people in the video; and
  • who you support (although we are hoping that will be obvious from the video).

Then that's it, you are part of the "Fan-tastic Finals" project!

When do I have to upload my video?

You can upload video any time in the next couple of weeks but if your team is lucky enough to make it through to the grand final, we will require video to be upload no later than Wednesday, 6 February 2013.

What happens next?

Our team will put together the various videos into a package and upload it to our YouTube channel.  We will also send an email you with a link to the video.

Sounds good?  We hope so and we look forward to seeing your work.

Get creative!
