The Brisbane Lions head into Saturday's AFLW Grand Final as the underdogs but captain Emma Zielke says the team is happy to have it that way.
Despite reaching grand final last year and going through the season undefeated, only losing the final to Adelaide, they head into the game on Saturday as outside favourites.
"We kind of said from the start, when it was the captain's media day, that no one tipped us to be in the top two again which is fine with us, we thrive off that," Zielke said.
"We love the thought we are the underdogs," she said.

It has been a rollercoaster of emotions over the weekend for the Lions who had to see three results go their way in order to make the grand final.
The teams last two results looked like they had blown their chances with losses to Melbourne and Collingwood.
It's not usually the place teams want to be in, relying on other matches results but luckily for the Lions, it all fell their way.
“We were a little bit deflated after that Collingwood game and we did think we had blown that chance but we went out on Friday night and did our part and then the other two games went our way as well,” Zielke said.
“I think I was riding every bump, miss tackle, miss mark, miss kick, anything that was going Collingwood’s way I was cheering for."
The very moment that final siren sounded!

It will be grand final 2.0 for Lions after a crushing defeat last season going down to the Adelaide Crows by six points.
It isn't something the team haven't dwelled on too much since then, they just want to learn from their mistakes and take what they've learnt into Saturday'/s match.
“I don’t know if it will give us an advantage, it will just make us go into the week more well prepared," Zielke said.
"I think we just got to focus on the job on Saturday and try treat it like it is any other game.
"If we stick to what we normally do then we can win a game of footy.”
