Molloy’s signing comes along with three other first-year players including Iilish Ross, Sarah Dargan and Holly Whitford.

Seasoned captain Steph Chiocci has also been officially confirmed after announcing her re-signing on Twitter last week while foundation players Stacey Livingstone, Sophie Casey and Cecilia McIntosh also put pen to paper.

McIntosh will be turning 40 next year.

“We’re thrilled to have retained some of our best young and experienced players for the 2019 season,” Strategy and Performance Manager Marcus Wagner said.

“At only 19, Chloe dominated the competition last year and we see plenty of potential in Iilish, Sarah and Holly to become some of the young stars of the competition.

“Steph’s leadership has been integral during our first two seasons and we are looking forward to having her wear the Black and White stripes alongside Cecilia, Sophie and Stacey again in 2019.”

Brisbane Lions defender, Nicole Hildebrand, head back to her home state as she joins the Pies after a trade.

Hildebrand was the No. 18 pick in the 2016 AFLW Draft and has played 13 matches with the Lions, including the inaugural AFL Women's Grand Final.
