Melbourne City's third international Erika Tymrak has arrived in Australia ahead of the opening weekend of the 2016/17 W-League season.
The 25 year old heads to City on loan from two time NWSL champions FC Kansas City and is Melbourne City's third international signing for Season 9.
Selected as the 11th pick by Kansas City in the 2013 NWSL College draft, Tymrak has gone on to make 61 appearances and net 13 goals for the Blues. Her debut season saw her named the 2013 NWSL Rookie Of The Year, earning a call up to the US Women's National Team.
A representative at U17, U20s and U23 levels, Tymrak has made 3 appearances for the USWNT and scored one goal.

At NWSL level the technically strong midfielder has assisted FC Kansas City to the 2014 and 2015 NWSL championship. She has also lined up for German giants Bayern Munich scoring two goals in eight appearances in 2013.
Tymrak's ability to play out wide or centrally will be a boon for Joe Montemurro as will her creativity and eye for goal.
“I’m delighted to have Erika join us this season. She is a very talented player who is capable of playing across a number of positions in midfield and attack,” he said.
“Erika will fit right in with the quality talent we already have at our disposal and I am looking forward to working with her ahead of the new season.”
Tymrak joined the Melbourne City team at the Brighton Girls Gala Day on Sunday.
