Brodie Chapman claimed fifth overall in the Amgen Tour of California while Annette Edmondson placed fifth in the third and final stage.
Finishing in a peloton of 59 riders, Edmondson (WHT) crossed the line in fifth position of the final 70km flat stage with a time of 1:37:32.

Fellow Australians Macey Stewart (WHT), Lauretta Hanson (UHC), Grace Brown (WHT), Brodie Chapman (TIB) and Shannon Malseed (TIB) all finished with the same time in the peloton.
Edmondson also finished equal fourth in the sprint classification, finishing with 15 points.

Stewart also placed 14th in the Young Rider classification.
