The announcement sees 18 of the 21 players who appeared in the club’s maiden AFLW grand final last month commit to the navy blue.

The re-signings include NAB AFLW Rising Star Madison Prespakis as well as foundation players Gabriella Pound, Darcy Vescio, Jess Hosking, Sarah Hosking, Katie Loynes, Natalie Plane, Lauren Brazzale and Breann Moody.

All Australian defenders Kerryn Harrington, high flying forward Tayla Harris, AFLW first ever father-daughter selection Abbie McKay, Nicola Stevens and Georgia Gee have all re-committed while Alison Downie, Jayde Van Dyk, Jess Edwards and Rugby Sevens coverts Chloe Dalton and Brooke Walker have signed on for the 2020 season.

Charlotte Wilson and Emerson Woods have also inked one season deals after debuting in 2019.

“I’m really excited about their desire to stick together as a group and wanting to build something sustained and special in navy blue.”
