This is my sixth season playing for my beloved Sky Blues and what an experience it’s been!

I think that all teams face their own struggles throughout a season. For us, time and time again we’ve peaked at the right moment, when it matters most. This season has probably exemplified this quality the most.
This Grand Final holds a very special significance for me as captain. I’m extremely honoured to be able to lead the squad out at AAMI Park.
"These big games are what each and every one of us players continue to strive for."
Whilst it is me who wears the armband on the day, I must say that I do not lead alone.
If it weren’t for my fellow senior players around me, none of this would have been possible.
There are a range of qualities that each of us bring to the table and lead us in any match.

Huge credit to our coaching staff this season who have always remained calm and confident in us players and what we’ve been aiming to achieve. It takes time to readjust to a new approach after so long.
Their continued professionalism and patience with us has definitely helped us grow throughout the season.
It’s been a fresh start for our team this season and our amazing fans have been ever loyal, passionate and patient with us.
Whatever happens in tomorrow's game, we hope to do our families, friends and fans proud!
Sydney is Sky Blue!
