Perth Glory have signed Canadian Women's National Team striker Christina Julien.

Julien, who arrived in Perth yesterday, is the second international signed by the Glory after it was announced late last month that countrywoman Sasha Andrews would return for a second season.

The 25 year old, who was a non-playing alternate during Canada's bronze medal run at London 2012, joins from Russian side WFC Rossiyanka.

Julien, who has made 52 appearances and scored 10 goals for Canada, bolsters a strong Perth Glory strike force, led by Golden Boot Kate Gill, that topped the W-League in goals scored.  However her signing is the clearest indication yet that Matildas striker Lisa De Vanna will leave the club to join Melbourne Victory.

While the full squad has yet to be released, last year's semi finalists have already commenced training with several key names returning, including Collette McCallum, Marianna Tabain, Ella Mastrantonio and Elisa D'Ovidio.

Perth Glory commence their W-League campaign on 9 November with an away match against the Newcastle Jets.
