The 21-year-old was dominant in her 6-0 6-4 victory against Su-Wei Hsieh of Chinese Taipei.

Barty won the first 10 games against Hsieh before the fight-back started as the gap was closed to 5-4. However, during Barty's second attempt of serving out the match, she made no mistake.

She has now won eight of her nine grass-court matches this month including a WTA title in Nottingham.

On the other court, Wozniacki overcame local hope Johanna Konta in a three-set thriller.

The 2018 Australian Open winner lost the first set but was able to fight her way back to make it 4-6 6-1 6-4.

Barty the eighth seed in Eastbourne, and will attempt to beat Wozniacki for the first time after two prior losses.

In the Wimbledon qualifiers, there are no more Australian women left after Lizette Cabrera, Arina Rodionova and Priscilla Hon fell in tight matches.

Cabrera took on reigning Wimbledon girls’ singles champion Claire Liu and succumbed 6-4 4-6 6-1 meanwhile Rodionova lost a hard-fought 5-7 6-4 6-4 match against Elena-Gabriela Ruse.

Earlier, Jamie Loeb ended Hon’s campaign, winning 6-4 6-4.
