The Aussie women have continued to impress on grass in the lead up to Wimbledon next month with Ash Barty and Ajla Tomljanovic securing wins.
Barty has continued her winning ways with a straight-sets defeat of Oceane Dodin in the WTA event in Birmingham.
She took her winning streak to six with a 6-4 6-3 win, finishing with eight aces which has taken her season tally to 152.
Barty faces German Julia Goerges on Thursday night (AEST) for a place in the quarterfinals after Goerges beat Maria Sakkari 6-4 6-4.
Talking to RSN Breakfast Club this morning Ash Barty said she planned on winning the Birmingham Open.
"I absolutely plan to win it, I think if you play a lot of matches and you're tired it always a big problem to have," Barty said.
"I'm certainly more concerned about planning well this week," she said.
Meanwhile, Tomljanovic posted her third win in a row at Mallorca Open with a 6-3 6-4 victory over Magda Linette in the first round.
The former world No.47 has won four of her past five matches on grass and now faces Sweden’s Rebecca Peterson for a place in the last eight tomorrow night AEST.
Jaimee Fourlis has missed out on qualifying for the ITF Great Britain 05A going down in straight sets 6-2 6-2 to Canadian Bianca Andreescu.
