The U17s path sees them join Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, Palestine, Iraq and hosts Vietnam in Group D with the group matches scheduled from 27 August to 4 September 2016.
Meanwhile the U19 team have been named the top seed in a Group A that features Jordan, Lebabon, Singapore and the Northern Mariana Islands. Group play will run from 29 October–6 November 2016 with a venue yet to be confirmed.
For both the U16 and U19, the equation is simple; first place in the group will see them qualify for the 2017 AFC Women’s U-16 and U-19 Championships.
