With the FIFA international window starting, many leagues took off this week and will not play games next week, but luckily some of the Aussies were able to play a game this week for their overseas clubs.

USA

Before Alanna Kennedy and Kyah Simon travelled back to Australia together, the two faced off when the Western New York Flash hosted the Boston Breakers.  Kennedy and the Flash would prevail over the Breakers with a score of 4-0.

Sky Blue FC was able to tie the new NWSL league leaders, the Chicago Red Stars, 1-1.  Sam Kerr was unavailable for Sky Blue as she is still nursing her ankle injury.

The final game of the week for NWSL saw Hayley Raso get her first start for the Portland Thorns as they took on last season’s shield winners, the Seattle Reign.  The game was a close match that ended in a 0-0 tie.
