It wasn't quite the homecoming they wanted with Alanna Kennedy's Western New York Flash losing at home to the undefeated and current league leaders, the Washington Spirit, 3-0.

Lydia Williams with the help of defender Ellie Brush were able to produce a clean sheet with the Houston Dash against Sky Blue FC. The game ended in a 0-0 draw with Sky Blue, who are still without Sam Kerr due to her foot ligament injury.

Starting the second day of action in the NWSL were the Boston Breakers and Portland Thorns FC. Kyah Simon made her 40th appearance for the Breakers and looked to help the team secure their first win.
However, Hayley Raso came on for the Thorns in the 66th minute and thirteen minutes later they were able to score and hold off the Breakers for a 1-0 victory.

The last game of the weekend saw Steph Catley and Laura Alleway of the Orlando Pride travel to Chicago to take on the Red Stars. The Pride could not get their first road win of the season as they lost 1-0.

Emily van Egmond took the field for FFC Frankfurt in the second leg of the UEFA Women’s Champion League against Wolfsburg. Frankfurt did win 1-0 but missed going to the finals on a 4-1 aggregate.
Later in the week, Van Egmond against started for Frankfurt with the midfielder netting her first goal for the German side in the 72nd minute. Frankfurt went on to defeat USV Jena 5-1.
Turbine Potsdam with Elise Kellond-Knight fell to FC Köln 3-2 with only a few games left in league play.
Tameka Butt netted another goal for Mallbacken IF in the 36th minute helping the team to draw with Umeå 1-1 and gain a point in the Swedish Damallsvenskan.
The Toppserien League in Norway saw Eliza Campbell with some excellent saves to help Klepp IL to a 3-2 win over Sandviken.
Over in the FA WSL 1, Alex Gummer’s Doncaster Rovers Belles suffered a big defeat at the hands of ladder leaders Manchester City. Gummer was an unused substitute.
Meanwhile, it was better news for Aivi Luik's Notts County Ladies as they claimed a 3-2 win over Liverpool FC with Luik seeing some action in the 74th minute.

Over in South Korea, newly blonde Racheal Quigley continued her red hot form scoring her second goal in as many weeks for Hwacheon KSPO.

The 66th minute goal helped Hwacheon KSPO to a 1-1 draw with WK-League ladder leaders Incheon Red Angels. Amy Jackson was an unused substitute for Incheon.
Meanwhile Gema Simon's Suwon recorded a morale boosting 2-2 draw with second placed Gumi Sportstoto.
