Before the Aussies head home for their upcoming games against New Zealand many players had direct impacts for their clubs this past week.

USA

The Orlando Pride started the NWSL weekend off with their first road win against the Houston Dash winning 1-0. Steph Catley notched a full game for the Pride, whereas Laura Alleway was a last minute scratch from the Pride’s starting lineup after suffering from a groin injury in warmups.

Lydia Williams had 4 saves for the Dash and only let in one goal in the final ten minutes of play. Ellie Brush was once again an unused sub for Houston because the head coach has stated he wants to mix up lineups in light of the changes the club that will have because of players missing for the Olympics.

Catley continues to create scoring chances for Orlando with her set pieces.
