The draw will see the eight finalists, including defending champions Australia, find out their path to qualification for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada.
The finalists are ranked based on their placing at the 2010 Asian Cup with Australia seeded No. 2, and Vietnam, as hosts, assuming the top ranking and position A1.
The four pots are as follows:
- Pot 1: Vietnam and Australia.
- Pot 2: Japan and China
- Pot 3: Korea Republic and Thailand
- Pot 4: Myanmar and Jordan
Two groups of four will be formed with a country drawn from each pot.
The top two nations from each group win through to the semi finals with the four semi-finalists, and the fifth-placed team of the tournament, qualifying for the Women’s World Cup.
