In Sunday’s Brisbane heat, the Western Bulldogs held on to win over last year’s finalists Brisbane Lions.
While the opening term didn’t produce any majors, the Bulldogs scored four in the second term and held Brisbane goalless in the first half.

Isabel Huntington snapped two goals early in the second but went down in agony in the second term and it was confirmed earlier tonight she has ruptured her ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.
