With North Melbourne and Geelong joining the competition next season, a longer season is on the cards but a conference system would shake that up dramatically.
While there has been a significant amount of noise about AFLW, players, fans and media have suggested allowing the game to grow without the constant scrutiny.
And we Melbourne based @lionsaflw would never see our team play.... Just give the ladies a proper fair dinkum uncompromised season please #idliketoseethat

The good news is, clubs will be represented in the discussions which will include looking at facilities and amenities.
Punters will need to wait until next month to hear the outcome of the reformat discussions.
