Adelaide United has once again undergone upheaval in the off-season with a change in administration, coach and potentially squad.

While Hussein “Huss” Skenderovic has been announced is the coach, following the departure of Mark Jones, the news about the squad players has been few and far between.

Young Matildas trio Emily Condon, Alex Chidiac and Grace Abbey have been announced by the club in the past month, while striker Rachael Quigley revealed her return to Adelaide following a successful run in the Korean W-K League.

Last night social media provided the first international signing confirmation with Brazilian defender Monica posting about her travels to Australia to line up in the red jersey while several other internationals, including a duo from the Chicago Red Stars set to jet in.

Also on her way to Adelaide is Chicago Red Stars' Katie Naughton.

Naughton was selected by Red Stars as the nineteenth selection in the 2016 NWSL College Draft with the 22 year old notching up 17 appearances for the NWSL semi finalists in her first season.

Season 8 captain Marijana Racjcic appears to be on track for a return after a season ending ACL injury early in the 2015/16 season while goalkeepers Claudia Jenkins and Sarah Willacy, also look to be once again in the Reds' squad.

Newcastle Jets forward Adriana Jones, who had followed father Mark across to Adelaide, has remained with the club and will be one of the more experienced W-League players this season.

Adelaide look set to have a host of new faces promoted from the local South Australian Premier League including Lucy Adamopoulos, Stella Rigon, Isabella Scalzi, Kelsey Zafiridis and Dragana Kljajic.

Adelaide United will be looking to improve on last season's fifth place finish and make their first W-League finals series.
