Adelaide United have revealed their first six players for Season 8 of the W-League.
With an off-season filled with big player and coaching changes, Adelaide will be hoping the new look team will be able fire under new coach Jamie Harnwell.
Tiarn Powell, Claudia Jenkins, Marijana Rajcic, Lauren Steer, Matildas McNamara and Grace Abbey are the first names on Harnwell's roster with the six players a mix of W-League experience and debutantes.
Striker Powell is back for a third season with the Reds. The 24 year old has yet to find consistent game time and scoring touch with the Reds but with the departure of captain Kristy Moore Powell could have a bigger role in Season 8.
Brought back to assist with goals is Adelaide local Marijana Rajcic who makes are return to the W-League after a two season absence.
With three W-League seasons under her belt, the striker will be one of Adelaide's more experienced players in an area they have historically struggled in.

Also looking to make the most of departures is Lauren Steer. With full backs Jenna McCormick and Monique Iannella leaving Adelaide, the defender will be working for more game time under Harnwell in her second W-League season.
Along with Powell and Rajcic, the Reds have signed a trio of debutantes in goalkeeper Claudia Jenkins and Matilda McNamara and Grace Abbey following their performances at recent trials.
Adelaide United commence their season against the Western Sydney Wanderers on 17 October 2015 at Adelaide Shores Football Centre.
