Sydney FC thump Canberra United 4-0 in a rescheduled Round Eight match at McKellar Park.
Sydney the team to beat?
The Sky Blues have now jumped to second place on the ladder ahead of derby rivals Western Sydney Wanderers and only four points behind the table toppers Melbourne City.
They had a number of different players scoring goals or looking likely to score goals too.
Even when a Matilda such as Caitlin Foord had a quiet game, the rest of her squad were able to pick up the pieces and create enough chances to win the game convincingly.
Sydney are strong all across the park and are lethal on the counterattack. Even when a player is taken off, they have strong substitutes on the bench who can fill their places competently.
Sydney seem to have put their poor game against the Wanderers behind them and are looking better than ever.
This renewed confidence and quality across the park arguably places them as the team to beat in the W-League this season.
.@BJTMarts FT | Dominant from the Sky Blues as @remyysiemsen, @V_Latsko12, @CLogarzo & @schuerta all get on the score sheet!
