Sweden has taken bronze at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup after downing England 2-1 in the third-place playoff.
It was the third time Sweden had won bronze after winning the playoff games in 1991 and 2011.
It took Kosovare Asllani just 11 minutes to get Sweden on the board at the Stade de Nice before Sofia Jakobsson pounced on a poor clearance to double her sides lead at the 22-minute mark.
England took time to find their rhythm but Fran Kirby hit the back of the net with a fine finish, it kick-started their game.
However, just seconds later England look to have levelled through Ellen White, only for her goal to be ruled out for handball following a VAR check.
