Equal Playing Field completed a world record attempt ahead of the first FIFA Women's World Cup semi-final.
The grassroots and non-profit initiative challenges gender inequality in sport and promotes sports development for girls and women globally, especially in marginalised country.
The Festival of Football is a five-day event centered around a marathon World Record football match presented in collaboration with Twitter.
Optus Sport pairing Alicia Ferguson-Cook and Niav Owens took part in the game.
"In the lead up to a Women's World Cup final, I couldn't think of a better afternoon," Owens said.
"Absolutely, this is what we're fighting for...at the end of the day we are all supporting each other and I'm just so pleased to be a part of it," Ferguson-Cook said.
After 69 hours of continuous play, 807 players on the pitch and a score of 404 - 369, Equal Playing Field completed the world record attempt for the largest number of players to appear continuously in a five-a-side match.
