Matildas Alex Chidiac and Larissa Crummer have been named in the Young Matildas 23-player squad to compete in the 2018 AFF Women's Championship.
The tournament, which will be held in Indonesia between 30 June and 13 July, will see Australia face Thailand, Malaysia, Timor-Leste, and Cambodia in Group A.
The Young Matildas will be coached by former Matilda Leah Blayney.
Blayney has been working closely alongside a number of players included in the side as a coach with the Future Matildas program.
“We have selected a young squad for the 2018 AFF Women’s Championship in Indonesia,” said Blayney.
“We have also opted to select a few overage players for the tournament to help them continue their international football development,” she said.
In the 2016 edition of the tournament, Australia finished fourth after losing 1-0 to Myanmar in the third-place playoff.
Seven players from that tournament, which was a U20's side, have been selected this time round including Chidiac, Jada Whyman, Annie Grove, Emily Condon, MelindaJ Barbieri, Princess Ibini and Cortnee Vine.
The Young Matildas will need to finish in the top two of Group A to advance to the semi-finals.
The Westfield Young Matildas will kick-off their campaign against Malaysia on 30 June.
