Brisbane Heat batter Grace Harris has brought up the fastest WBBL century in her sides 10 wicket win over the Melbourne Stars.
The 25-year-old hit 101* runs off 42 balls in the Wednesday afternoon clash to eclipse Sixers star Ashleigh Gardner’s previous record of 47 deliveries from achieved last season.
Needing just one run to clinch victory Harris sat on 95 but wanting her teammate to reach triple figures, Beth Mooney made Harris stay put despite hitting the ball.
The allrounder struck a massive six down the ground to reach her century on the next delivery.
Moons wanted the ton just as much as we did! 😂

She reached her half-century from 23 balls and was lucky to stay in after her hit was dropped on 92 by Erin Osborne.

Harris is the first player two score two WBBL centuries, having already scored a ton during the first edition of the competition.
