NSW Swifts head coach Briony Akle will be hoping her side can return to the top four this weekend after a loss West Coast Fever last round.
The Swifts face the Collingwood Magpies, who only have one win to their name this season, tomorrow afternoon so they will be hungry to register another victory.
Despite only having one win from four matches, the Magpies sit one point behind the Swifts on the ladder due to their bonus points accumulated in those losses.
“It was a tough loss against the Fever but at least it has allowed us to address the issues that cost us in that game,” Akle said.
“You just can’t turnover the ball and give it straight to the opposition, so this week has been all about converting those turnovers that our defensive end has been winning for us.
“Hopefully this week our transition will flow a lot better and we can make it count at the other end,” she said.
However, in their two previous meetings, the Magpies have take out both including a tight 55-54 win in their last encounter.
