Jillaroo Raun Sims has stood down as Dally M Awards judge after social media backlash towards the NRL after it was revealed she didn't watch the NRL game live.
However, it is believed Sims watched the replay of the match before submitting votes as she was playing for her Sharks in the curtain raiser for the men's NRL match.
Sims was set to cover the Eels and Sea Eagles game which kicked off at 2pm but her match didn’t finish till after 3pm.
Under NRL rules, judges must be at the game and place their votes immediately at fulltime.
The Eels gave the Sea Eagles a 44-10 hammering with Sims awarding her points to Mitchell Moses (3), Tim Mannah (2) and Api Koroisau (1).
Sims took to Twitter on Monday to explain what happened:

The NRL has appointed another judge to review the game.
