It's shaping up to be one of the biggest clashes of the NWSL season and in true form to the Matildas' impact on the world stage, two Aussies will be centre stage.
While North Carolina Courage may have something to say about it - and could well benefit from the top two taking points off each other - Portland Thorns and Chicago Red Stars are two of the fieriest attacking teams this season, well deserving the top two spots in the league.
Raso and Kerr have been leading the line for both these teams, Kerr in typically sensational goalscoring form knocking in a whopping 13 goals in just 15 games, five more than the next highest NWSL goalscorer.
Raso's form has been just as impressive when you consider it wasn't long ago we were heralding her goalscoring return from a lengthy, horrible injury lay-off with the Matildas.
The diminuitive forward has notched four NWSL goals in a hot-streak recently with just nine games played all season.
The Matildas teammates' vital contributions have left Portland first and Chicago second heading into the final six matches of the campaign.
While Chicago have relied heavily on Kerr's contributions and have suffered a few upset results, none more so than defeats to the Sky Blues and Alana Kennedy's Orlando Pride, Portland have been slow and steadily knocking off fellow contenders.
To back up Raso, they also have extreme quality in depth, no more so than one of the greatest female players of all time, Christine Sinclair.
But arguably no other player in world football can win a game as easily as Kerr - which is why this one is truly unmissable.
Portland Thorns vs Chicago Red Stars - Monday, August 26: 5 am AEST.
