Brisbane Roar have confirmed that Matildas winger Hayley Raso hasn't suffered any structural damage after her arm was accidentally stamped on in their loss to Melbourne Victory.
It was a horror coming-together, in which Victory's Angie Beard accidentally stood on Raso's hand.
The incident, in which Beard commendably immediately stopped play and rushed to Raso's assistance, required a lengthy stoppage of play and Raso's withdrawal from the field with her arm in a sling.
Thank you all for your concern and well wishes. In a fair bit of pain, but the hand is doing okay! Big love to @HeyAngieBeard too, what a human 🧡

Given Raso's injury record at senior level, it had many fans worried about the possible seriousness of the injury, but Jake Goodship said she avoided a serious injury.
The club did not confirm whether she would be able to play next week however.
“Thankfully the injury isn’t as serious as initially thought,” Goodship said.
"It’s another setback for Hayley, but she has great resilience and a fantastic mentality."
