It's a fortnight until the inaugural Women's State of Origin kicks off and Queensland has named their side to take on New South Wales.
Queensland will be coached by former Origin hooker Jason Hetherington with former Jillaroos Nat Dwyer and Karyn Murphy as assistant coaches.
The team features a number of experienced players including 2017 Rugby League World Cup winning Jillaroos Chelsea Baker, Heather Ballinger, Annette Brander, Karina Brown, Steph Hancock, Zahara Temara and Ali Brigginshaw.
Ballinger and Brigginshaw recently signed NRL Women's Premiership contracts with the Brisbane Broncos.
New faces to the squad include Meg Ward, who was also part of the World Cup winning squad.
The National Championships last weekend saw forward Frieda Faulato Seu from the Queensland City team selected for her performance.
The match has previously been under the Interstate Challenge banner with Queensland winning 17 straight before NSW took out the previous two years.
