GIANTS Netball will be looking to bounce back against the Queensland Firebirds after a close loss to Sydney rivals, NSW Swifts last round.
The GIANTS, who had their first loss of the season, were in control of the game in the local derby but two consecutive goals in the dying minutes of the game from the Swifts saw them take the bragging rights.
GIANTS shooter Susan Pettitt is hoping the side can improve on their performance from last round.
"Last week we were a bit patchy in the game so we want to be a bit more consistent," she said.
"Just getting the ball flowing a little bit and moving onto the ball nice and strong."
Heading into the game against the Firebirds, who sit behind them in third because of a lower winning percentage, the GIANTS want to play a more consistent brand of netball.
"We'd like to take away a win obviously, that's our key here and those bonus points through the quarters but we just want to play consistent netball," Pettitt said.
"The GIANTS started the season well and were consistent over four quarters and we probably went away from that last week," she added.
