Tameka Yallop has a big task on her hands if her club, Klepp IL are going to challenge for a Champions League place. But she's doing everything she can.
Yallop has been a star recruit for the mid-to-upper table Norwegian club, which battle for a scarse single Champions League place in the Toppserien.
Yallop now has a whopping nine goals in 21 games, not bad for a traditional midfielder.
Despite the Scandinavian leagues trailblazing the professionalism of women's football and Norway's position among the strongest countries in the world, they still garner very few Champions League places relative to their ranking.
It's a hard slog for Yallop, who is now one of relatively few Matildas playing in Scandinavia. But it is good news for Brisbane Roar fans, who have signed the club legend back for another season.
She'll be coming back to Brisbane in red-hot form.
