The second edition of the tournament will see Brazil, Japan and USA return with games to be held across three cities; Kansas City, Connecticut, and Illinois.

In last years edition of the tournament, the Matildas came out on top and lifted in the inaugural ToN trophy after winning all three matches against Brazil, Japan and USA.

The 2017 tournament also saw the Matildas first-ever victory against the USA with a 1-0 win while fans were also treated to a 4-2 win over Japan and a 6-1 win over Brazil.

The same format from 2017 will carry into 2018 with the winner based on total points (three for a win, one for a draw), with the first tie-breaker being overall goal difference, followed by most total tournament goals scored, then head-to-head result and, lastly, FIFA Ranking if necessary.

All of the Matildas’ matches at the 2018 Tournament of Nations will be broadcast live on Fox Sports.
