Sam Kerr notched up her dozen for the NWSL season as her Chicago Red Stars chase the league while Tameka Yallop is keeping her Norwegian side in the hunt for the Toppserien title.
In the NWSL Sam Kerr scored her 12th goal of the season for the Red Stars in their 2-0 victory over Utah Royals. Chicago is keeping up the race at the top of the NWSL closing the gap on North Carolina Courage to two points.

Travelling up Route 97 saw Elise Kellond-Knight complete a full game while Chloe Logarzo started and was substituted after 35 minutes in Washington Spirits' 1-0 loss to North Carolina Courage. Amy Harrison was an unused sub for Spirit.
Kyah Simon played until the 56th minute for Houston Dash in their 1-0 loss to Reign FC while Clare Polkinghorne didn't feature. Stephanie Catley started and played a full match for Reign, keeping a clean sheet.
The Matildas trio in Portland only managed a point in a 1-1 draw with Sky Blue FC. Hayley Raso, who scored twice last week, played a full match while Caitlin Foord played just over an hour. Ellie Carpenter is still absent due to injury.
In Norway, Tameka Yallop was the hero for Klepp IL in the Toppserien. Yallop scored the winner in their 1-0 win over LSK.

Aivi Luik recently made the switch to Avaldsnes the other week but is yet to make an appearance for her new side as they defeated Arna-Bjornar 2-1.
In Iceland Grace Maher played a full match for KR Reykjavik as they lost 2-0 to Fylkir.
American College football is set to start in August and September with over 30 young players plying their trade in the college system.
