After the international break, 32 Matildas are returning to domestic club play abroad.
Spanish Primera División
Only one Matilda is currently plying her trade in Spain. Beattie Goad who got her first of three caps last April is currently with UD Granadilla Tenerife. They take on Real Madrid tomorrow at 2:30 AM AEST.
At present both clubs have yet to register a win in either of the league matches this year with Real bottom of the table.
Norwegian Toppserien
Karly Roestbakken is currently contracted with LSK Kvinner FK. However, an injury picked up prior to the Olympics has kept her from featuring in her second Toppserien season. The defender was recently brought in to be evaluated by Football Australia's sport scientists during the Republic of Ireland camp.
She had previously stated that she was not putting a timeline on her recovery. Her club who are currently third in the ladder are meeting fourth placed Vålerenga tomorrow.
The other Australian in the Norwegian league is Nikola Orgill who plays for Klepp. The ninth placed (out of ten) team meet Arna-Bjørnar at 10:00 PM AEST on Saturday, September 25 for their match day 14 game.
Swedish Damallsvenskan
Two Australians will meet each other tomorrow. Winonah Heatley who plays with last ranked Växjö DFF will be facing Dylan Holmes who is at second placed BK Häcken at 1:00 AM AEST on Sunday, September 26 for their matchday 17 of 22 game.
Two Matildas are with top of the table FC Rosengård, currently undefeated in the Swedish league. Teagan Micah and newly capped Charli Grant are both facing Kristianstads on Sunday, September 26.
Clare Polkinghorne and Vittsjö will also be playing on Sunday, September 26 facing Piteå. Vittsjö is currently mid table where they have remained for most of the season.
Dutch Eredivisie
Amy Harrison is playing in her second season in the Netherlands with PSV. The team is currently fifth in the league after one win and one draw. However, they have played the least amount of games of any Eredivisie side this season.
They face Twente on Saturday, September 25 at 8:15 PM AEST.
Danish Elitedivisionen
There has been somewhat of an Australian invasion of Denmark of late. At present five Matildas are currently playing in the Danish top flight.
Matildas Clare Wheeler, Angela Beard, Alexandra Huynh and Indian-Paige Riley, all of whom have one international cap, are also all with Fortuna Hjørring. Fortuna is currently second in the ladder, with five wins and one draw. They face first place HB Køge on Sunday, September 26 at 9PM AEST.
The other Matilda in Denmark is Jenna McCormick. She plays for AGF who face Farum away on Monday, September 27 at 1AM AEST. AGF is fifth in the ladder.
Scottish Women's Premier League 1
Jacynta Galabadaarachchi signed with Celtic Football Club ahead of this SWPL season. They play Hibernian in their matchday 4 game on Sunday, September 26 at 9:30PM AEST.
Japan WE League
Alex Chidiac is the only Australian plying her trade in Japan. Her team JEF United meet INAC Kobe Leonessa away on Sunday, September 26 at 12PM AEST. JEF drew their first ever WE match to Elfen Saitama 1-1.
