Arna-Bjørnar in the Toppserien, the first division in Norway, confirmed the signing of the 24-year-old on Friday afternoon (early Saturday morning).

Arnold flew to Arna, Bergen in Norway's east on Thursday after the Matildas finished their Algarve Cup campaign and arrived to snow, something she was not used to.

"I like to play for the club even if I'm not used to such a thing, it does not matter to me," she said.

Sports coordinator Bent Raknes said it was a great day for the club.

"We have won a national team goalkeeper from a country that is rated well over Norway," he said.

Arna-Bjørnar lost American goalkeeper Alyssa Giannetti, who went back home to complete studies before the upcoming season.

This will be the first time Arnold has played overseas having spent the 2017 off-season with Roar who played in the U14 NPL Boy's competition.

Arnold had a remarkable season in the W-League with Roar winning the Premiership and keeping six clean sheets.
