Levante UD Femenino reached an agreement with Luik to join the team for the upcoming season.

The Spanish side finished eighth in the Primera Division last season and qualified for the Copa de la Reina where they drew FC Barcelona, the eventual Champions, in the quarterfinals.

The 33-year-old, who has a European passport due to her Hungarian and Swedish parents, will not feature in the upcoming W-League season starting on October 26.

Luik currently plays for IFK Kalmar in the Damallsvenskan, the same league as Matildas midfielder Elise-Kellond-Knight and Melbourne Victory forward Natasha Dowie.

For the past three W-League season, Luik was part of Melbourne City, making 37 appearances and winning three consecutive Championships with the team.

She was part of the Matildas recent Asian Cup campaign but was not selected in the squad for the Tournament of Nations.
