Assistant: Mel Andreatta

She ruled herself out of the running for the Matildas head coach role 18 months ago, citing a lack of experience, after Alen Stajcic’s controversial sacking.

But she has worked as an assistant with the Matildas in recent years.

Mel Andreatta with a young player: could the former Roar boss be part of a London-based Matildas coaching team?

The former Brisbane Roar Premiership winner is one coach who could be a key part of an Australian coaching team in London because she knows so many of our players and has a brilliant football mind.

The AFC ‘A’ license holder was last year appointed as a youth coach with Brisbane Strikers.

Assistant: Ross Aloisi

Aloisi is one of the most passionate and respected coaches in women’s football.

Ross Aloisi has been involved in the W-League and Matildas set ups, and could be another good option for a London-based coach team

Another to have passed through the Roar coaching set up, the former A-League star with Adelaide United and Wellington Phoenix, is currently running a female football program in Brisbane.

The ex-Adelaide United W-League coach was also part of the Matildas World Cup coaching team in 2015.

Assistant: Belinda Wilson

Belinda Wilson has amassed a fantastic level of experience and would be another ideal candidate for a London-based coaching team.

She has been the TD (Technical Director) for Guam's FA as well as the national team coach of the Asian country's women’s side for two years.

Could Belinda Wilson be part of a Matildas London-based coaching team?

Like Juric, she has a wide range of technical and coaching skills.

She also coached Brisbane Roar in the WWL for four years, lead a Coerver Coaching program in Norway for three years, and was Women’s Football High-Performance Manager at Football Queensland.

Wilson is also a coach Instructor throughout FIFA’s Member Associations.
