An Icelandic international trio are set to light up the W-League.
The Women's Game reported last week that Gunnhildur Jónsdóttir was set to come to Australia but the 30-year-old could be bringing along two teammates.
Icelandic football website, Fórbolti.net has reported that Jónsdóttir and striker Fanndís Friðriksdóttir have agreed to terms with Adelaide United for the upcoming W-League season.
Fanndís will be on loan from her Icelandic club Val but was previously at French club Marseille.
"This is very exciting and opportunities are not always available," she told Football Today.
They could be joined by defender Hallbera Gísladóttir who was also linked to the club after a post of Instagram.
