The 23-year-old played her first season of W-League last year and had an unforgettable start to her Australian career, scoring a double against Champions Melbourne City in Glory's 4-1 win.

Hill would go on to score nine goals and become the first player of the season to score a hat-trick, which came against Brisbane Roar.

After her time in Australia, she returned home to play for Orlando Pride and added a further four goals to her career tally as they finished seventh. Hill also helped the USA Under-23 team to win this month’s Nordic Cup.

"I had a lot of fun last season and I'm really looking to forward to an even better year this time around," she said.

"I think making the finals is definitely within reach for us this year. If we put our minds to it, we can definitely get there," Hill said.

Coach Bobby Despotovski believes that Hill is capable of taking her game to another level in the coming months.

"Rachel made a massive impact last season and we're delighted to have her back again this year," he said.

"She complements our other attacking players really well, has great pace and provides assists as well as goals," Despotovski said.
