Lisa De Vanna overcame some early jitters to net a double, while 19-year-old Alex Chidiac, Chloe Logarzo and Larissa Crummer also hit the scoresheet in the 5-0 win which was never in doubt.

The farewell game started like the morning did in Perth with a bit of rain to cool everyone off but as Rebecca Duracu blew the whistle to begin the match, the Matildas dominated.

Chidiac opened the scoring for the Matildas after Crummer put a lovely cross into the box in the sixth minute.

It wasn't a great start for Thailand as Duangnapa Sritala, a crucial player for Thailand, went down injured and it didn't get much better at Australia piled on the pressure.

But chance after chance didn't see Australia double their lead.

The Thai defence battened down their line as they tried to control Sam Kerr and De Vanna.

Credit has to go to Thailand's goalkeeper, Waraporn Boonsing, who kept the team in the game with a number of crucial saves.

Local Perth girl, De Vanna wasn't having the best luck with finding the back of the net but after a few close calls, Logarzo put in a cross.

The third goal wasn't far away after De Vanna returned the favour to Logarzo who now has four in her last six matches.

De Vanna added the fourth on 52 minutes, before Crummer rounded out the scoring with 20 minutes to play.
