The Queensland Firebirds will be looking for a repeat from their performance when they met West Coast Fever when the two sides met tomorrow afternoon.
The Firebirds are looking for their first clean sweep against a team this season after beating Fever by 10 points earlier this season, the first team to beat the side, but it won't come easy.
The Fever sits on top of the ladder but by a slim margin with only seven points separating them and second-placed Melbourne Vixens.
“You could say finals have come early for us,” coach Roselee Jencke said.
“It’s a great test to see where we are at presently.
“We match up really well against the Fever, we had a great game against them earlier in the season but it’s a new opportunity for us to go an challenge ourselves against the top team,” she said.
However, while the Firebirds remain unbeaten in Brisbane this season, their away record tells a different story winning just two of six games on the road.
“The games we have lost on the road have been by small margins, it could’ve gone either way,” Jencke said.
