The W-League has released its list of best player for each team.
Newcastle Jets FC - Gema Simon
The Jets' captain celebrated her 10th season with the Newcastle Jets, 11th in the W-League. She played in all 12 from the team's games in the last campaign. Simon has also made 11 appearances for the Matildas. During the W-League off-season Simon played in the NSW National Premier League.

Perth Glory - Morgan Andrews
Morgan Andrews joined the Perth Glory on loan from her NWSL club the OL Reign. In her first W-League season Andrews scored 7 goals in 11 appearances, finishing the season joint Golden Boot winner. Incredibly all of her goals came in Round 8 onwards. She was also named the February's W-League Player of the Month.

Sydney FC - Alanna Kennedy
Alanna Kennedy joined Sydney FC from the Orlando Pride for 11th W-League season. Her 6th year with Sydney club, Kennedy made 10 appearances this past 2019-20 season. The Matildas veteran helped the club reach the 2020 Grand Final.

Western Sydney Wanderers - Amy Harrison
The 2019-20 season was Harrison's eight W-League season. However, it was her first with the Wanderers joining the team after seven years with crosstown rival Sydney FC. The Matildas' move was a success. Harrison made 13 appearances with the Wanderers, scoring 2 goals, and helped the club reach the playoffs for the first time in club history. She has since signed a deal with the Dutch Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven.
