When the Southern Stars take to the field against England today they already know they've grabbed a spot in the Tri-Series Final against them on Saturday.
The side had a comprehensive 36 run victory over India on Monday which effectively saw today's match against England a 'dead rubber'.
However, Ellyse Perry doesn't feel as though it is.
"I think it is a great opportunity for our team for a couple of reasons," she said.
"Firstly, we want to keep momentum in T20 cricket especially heading into a final and also this period of time for us is so crucial as a team in terms of the way we want to develop our style," Perry said
The match today also gives players the opportunity to continue developing their playing style ahead of the World Cup later this year and it also gets players use to their role in the team.
The side will also be looking to stop England's Danni Wyatt, who helped lead England to a seven wicket win over India on Sunday with a 124 run total off 64 balls, along with Natalie Sciver.
"They are in really great form and obviously they are quite potent players but I think from out point of view, batting well yesterday and defending our total gave us a lot of confidence," Perry said.
Australia face England 3:30pm AEDT (10am local time) in Mumbai.
