Adelaide United and Matildas midfielder Alex Chidiac has signed with Atlético de Madrid Femenino (Atletico Madrid Women's).
Atlético Marid are the reigning Spanish Champions in the Primera Division after beating FC Barcelona by one point, which saw them qualify for the Champions League this upcoming season.
The team were runners-up in the Copa de la Reina to FC Barcelona.
"I am very excited. I'm going to start a new chapter in my life. I want to continue growing in the world of football and develop my football skills on the road," Chidiac said.
"It has always been one of my goals to play in Spain and I am very happy that it is with Atlético.
"Playing together with some of the best players in Spain is incredible and I am honored to join the team. It is a dream come true," she said.

The 19-year-old has recently taken part in the AFF Women's Championship with the Young Matildas, which saw her score five goals in their second-place finish. In 2018, Chidiac has also been part of the Matildas during the Algarve Cup and the Asian Cup both held earlier this year.
Chidiac has been plying her football in the W-League since the 2014/15 season, where she was with Adelaide United before making the move to for a season Melbourne City and after a campaign, returned to Adelaide United.
She is considered one of the best young talents in Australia, having won the PFA's Young Women's Footballer for the second year in a row.
The Primera Division, the top division for women's football in Spain, runs from September to May.
