Goals by Rhoda Mulaudzi and Karly Roestbakken help end Canberra's two match losing streak and push the side into the top 4.
Several stops of play occurred during the physical match-up causing multiple stoppages which brought upon an additional 14 minutes of extra time in the second half.
Sydney will have plenty to think about during their long bus drive home up the highway as they have now suffered their third consecutive loss and sitting in second last place on the table.
