It's set to be an exciting season with many changes to teams playing rosters for the 2019 season after 90 percent of the league came off their contracts.

In Melbourne on Tuesday, Netball Australia launches the third installment of the competition and it was smiles all round as the eight team captains gathered.

"It's almost surreal being here and seeing everyone," Collingwood captain Geva Mentor said.

"Pre-season has been so long that you kind of just go through the motions of just trying to be the best person you can be, being caught up in your own club so to see other teams your like 'oh, it's about to get real'."

Netball Australia also released their campaign "See what we're made of".

The campaign showcases the endless hours lifting weights, running laps and shooting goals, along with the extreme mental preparation that the athletes put in behind the scenes that builds the elite teams and players that we get to witness week in, week out.

"Much like every other team, we've worked extremely hard in this off-season, physically yes but also mentally in our game during those precious situations," Queensland Firebirds captain Gabi Simpson said.

"We've had lots of pre-season games but there will be nothing like running out our own crowd."

Suncorp Super Netball starts on Saturday 27th April, kicking off with a double-header at Melbourne Arena at 3pm on Saturday (Vixens v Firebirds and Magpies v Sunshine Coast Lightning), a NSW derby on Sunday between the Giants and Swifts and capped off with a Thunderbirds home game against the West Coast Fever.

Fans can watch every match live on the big screen with two matches on Channel 9 and two matches on Telstra TV (exclusive to Telstra broadband customers).

Every match will also be available live via subscription in the Netball Live Official app.
