It has been confirmed that Western Bulldogs captain Katie Brennan will miss the AFLW grand final after the Bulldogs unsuccessfully challenged her one-game suspension at the AFL Tribunal.
Brennan received a one-game suspension for a sling tackle on Melbourne’s Harriet Cordner but Match Review Officer Michael Christian after being found guilty of “engaging in rough conduct.

It was her second classifiable offence of the 2018 season.
Brennan unsuccessful challenge also means she will miss round one of the 2019 season.
